Hi friends,
This is my first blog here.
Greetings from Liverpool. The city of Beatles ! And art and river Mersey and more.
I love the city's cultural feel and the architechture .Though I lived here all my life, I am not bored by it as alot of my pals seem to feel about our city.
Our airport is named after John Lennon :) Also, Liverpool overhead railway was the first electrically powered overhead railway in the world !
Oh and I have to mention football..ofcourse Liverpool team :)
Also home of Gerrard who I love and Rooney who I dont :D
Friends in India will like to know that there are lot of Indians here and also many temples for Hindus and sikhhs.
Anyone planning to visit Liverpool will be interested to know that it is the European Capital of Culture for 2008 :)
Enjoy Liverpool, catch a game, go shopping on CHurch street, walk by the wwaterfront in evening and have a great time!
